Ski tours on the Dachstein Plateau
Getting up early is worthwhile for the big winter adventure!
Untouched landscape, peace and quiet away from the ski slopes and snow-covered slopes with powder snow and firn. On a ski tour on the Dachstein plateau in Obertraun in the Salzkammergut you can enjoy unique nature experiences on sporting adventures. The operators of the "Dachstein Krippenstei" cable car in Obertraun are once again making a heart for ski tourers this winter with the so-called "early trips to the mountain".
Early ski tourer ride
The Dachstein Krippenstein is the ideal starting point for numerous tours into the Dachstein massif: Whether from the Krippenstein the classic crossing route over the "Rumpler" to the Dachstein Glacier (lifts on the glacier not open) with the 11 km long descent to Obertraun or a half-day tour to the Zwölferkogel and the Wiesberghaus.
Always from Friday to Sunday
For early ski tourers, snowshoe hikers and hut sitters, there will be the popular ski tourer mountain railway ride at 7.30 hrs. in the morning from 14.02.2025 every weekend (Friday, Saturday + Sunday) until the end of the season
