Gosau "Kohlstatt" Trail in Gosau
An easy trail
The Kohlstatt Trail (Kohlstatt Loipe) is identical to the Fairy Tale Trail for the first kilometre. When you reach the first fork in the trail, however, continue straight ahead, keeping to the left hand side of the Gosau stream until you reach the Klaushof in Vordertal. Follow the long loop to the Kohlstatt-Stüberl (Blinkender Hirsch). Follow the same trail back to the Sports Centre.
For all those who don't want to spend a long time looking for a parking space and want to enjoy the full cross-country skiing fun in the large valley: All people in the Gosau Valley are networked with each other. As an entry or exit to the Gosau cross-country ski trail network, we therefore recommend the centrally located "Sportplatz car park" (Parkplatz Sportplatz Gosau), which is located directly near the main road in Gosau's "Mittertal" district.
